I did something good for once!

Regular readers of my blog will have noticed that Jan and I were doing a sponsored walk for Maggie’s Cancer Support Centres. I would like to give you an update. The walk took place last Saturday, and we covered 22 miles (35 km) over quite rough terrain in 11 hours. We started at 8:00 a.m. and finished at 7:00 p.m. The weather was variable, with sunshine at times and heavy rain at others!  

Thanks to the support of this blog, we have raised £5,600, and this reflects the generosity of those who read my blog. We would like to thank everyone who donated, we really appreciate your support. I think that this is a great one-off achievement for the people who read my blog. Thank you so much.
