Can you help us with some useful research?
This is a very short extra post asking for your help with some useful research by completing a short survey.
Although I am retired, I can still support some research projects. I would like you to assist with this exciting new project.
This is a significant project aiming to create a new orthodontic outcome measure to evaluate treatment quality. This work is important for all of us because it may provide values that matter to patients, and I hope it will lessen our reliance on endless tables of cephalometric measurements.
The study is being carried out by the orthodontic department at the University of Leeds, Northern England. This group is establishing itself as a strong team of researchers, and I believe they deserve as much support as possible.
The lead researcher is Emily McIivenna, who is an orthodontic academic clinical fellow. This is her introduction to the survey.
“We are inviting orthodontic clinicians from around the world to complete a short survey about their experiences and opinions when judging treatment quality, and whether there is support for developing an improved quality measure”.
This will not take much of your time to complete. If you can help, please follow this link to the survey and further information. Thank you for your help.
